Joel Conlon: Has been capped by England Under-18s this season

Highly-rated youngsters Joel Conlon, Keiran Davies and Jack Arnott have been handed professional contracts at Exeter.

The trio have worked their way through the Chiefs academy, with Davies and Arnott going on to play in the Aviva Premiership A League and Conlon earning international honours for England Under-18s.

And academy coach Rob Gibson is believes the trio can follow in the footsteps of fellow academy graduates Ben Moon, Dave Ewers, Luke Cowan-Dickie, Sam Hill, Jack Nowell and Henry Slade.

"It's great to see them come through, but our job is only half done," Gibson told the club's official site. "We need to get them into the Premiership.

"Ben Moon is starting to become a regular first-teamer, Dave Ewers has had some good first-team exposure, but we need to have three or four of them establishing themselves in the first team in the next few years. If we could have half a dozen in the next six years, I think that would be brilliant."
